Refrigerator Recall Fixed Finally

The repair man for my Maytag refrigerator recall was able to finally show up on a scheduled day. The part was switched out and took all of 5 minutes to do the actual repair. I did ask why he didn't come last week as was initially scheduled and he said that they don't get told what they are doing until that day and that they dislike the scheduling department that is taking care of this recall as much as the customers. He drove almost 2 hours from Casper to my house in Medicine Bow then next had to drive back up to Casper then over to Douglas for the next service call. The scheduling people working this recall just have no clue what is going on it seems :( Really sad!! I am glad that my refrigerator shouldn't burn the house down now though!

Yesterday was my DH's birthday! I made him a special dinner and his Mom baked him a cake too! Plus his parents had taken us out to dinner for his birthday on Saturday. I also got him a cute t-shirt and a new tape measure as gifts :) So he made out quite well!
